Quad Bike Models

One of the more popular quad bikes is the Kawasaki KFX 450 R. It is equipped with a strong performance
which makes it a great consideration for those entering racing. It sits low to the ground. It has an
adjustable suspension with long front A-arms. It is mounted on an aluminium frame making it very lightweight.
It comes with a five speed transmission along with a fuel injected and electric start motor. This model
offers impressive power on the track or in the mountains. This Kawasaki comes with a 449 cc liquid cooled,
DOHC, four valve. The triple piston rings help increase durability and reduces maintenance.

Honda also make popular quad bikes. One of the special quads is the Honda FourTrax
Rancher 4x4 ES which offers power steering. When this Honda leaves the factory it is fully loaded. The
FourTrax Rancher allows for remarkable electric shifting. It is available in 2WD or 4WD offering a front
differential and fuel injection. One of the unique features is the Honda Electric Power Steering. Honda
is proud of the newly designed rack design which allows for easily stashing cargo. There is also a new
seat with increased foam offering more comfort. Custom settings are available due to the pre-load adjustable
front and rear suspension.

Polaris also offers some tough bikes. Although not strictly a quad (it has 6 wheels), one of the more popular is the Polaris 800 Big Boss 6x6. Polaris
claims that this model is the hardest working and most powerful 6x6 ever manufactured. It can be used in areas
where most people do not generally use a quad bike: ranching, construction business, and farming. It comes
with a 760cc twin cylinder EFI engine. The on demand trust six wheel drive is what differentiates it from
other bikes and other uses. There is an 800 pound rear cargo box which allows for hauling and dumping.

Suzuki also offers a variety of models in quad bikes. One of their models is the Suzuki QuadRacer R450 Limited
Edition. This model was named the AMA/ATVA National MX champion. Some reviewers say this is the hottest
four-wheeler available. The fuel injected 450cc power plant offers outstanding performance. This model also
has a technically advanced chassis and responsive, long travel suspension. This allows you to take it onto
the toughest track or the most severe terrain and still experience top notch performance. The new Special
Edition comes with a black version along with black wheels. The black bodywork is set off by the striking
gold frame. This edition is also available in red with a black frame and black wheels.

The field is not complete without considering Yamaha. One of their favorite models is the Yamaha Raptor
700 R Se. This bike offers a radical appearance with the wave style rear brake disc, and the GYRT front grab
bar along with heel guards. This beauty was made with domination in mind. It has been able to do just that
by meeting and exceeding what other quads can do in any kind of terrain. This Yamaha offers a 686cc liquid
cooled engine. There is an electronic fuel injection system offering throttle response and performance. It
is also one of the lightest quads in this class. Standard equipment includes such accessories as Armor nerf
bars, bumper and aluminium radiator cover.
